moderne dans l\u2019entre-deux-guerres ((particuli\u00e8rement \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque du Front populaire), lors de la reconstruction puis des trente glorieuses<\/p>\n\n\n<div artiste-peintre, connue pour ses grandes peintures de d\u00e9coration (paquebots, ambassade de France au Canada) et ses r\u00e9alisations \u00e0 caract\u00e8re surr\u00e9aliste sur marbres (peintures marmor\u00e9ennes). Un ouvrage, \u00ab&nbsp;Marmor\u00e9es&nbsp;\u00bb, rassemble des reproductions photographiques de ses \u0153uvres. D\u00e9nomm\u00e9es \u00ab Jardin Beaudouin&nbsp;\u00bb mais laiss\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019abandon \u00e0 la suite du d\u00e9c\u00e8s d\u2019E. Beaudouin en 1983, les terrasses de la darse sont actuellement entretenues b\u00e9n\u00e9volement pas des membres de l\u2019 ASPMV<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#e3f5d75c;font-size:20px\">S\u2019\u00e9tendant le long de terrasses, dot\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019origine d\u2019une grande pergola, de &nbsp;divers bassins, d\u2019\u00e9troits plans d\u2019eau plant\u00e9s de n\u00e9nuphars et \u00e9quip\u00e9 de nombreux gros bacs en b\u00e9ton, align\u00e9s et de forme tronconique (\u00ab&nbsp;chapeaux chinois&nbsp;\u00bb), le jardin accueillait jadis une v\u00e9g\u00e9tation soigneusement choisie et adapt\u00e9e aux conditions du milieu : p\u00e9largoniums, agapanthes, n\u00e9nuphars, lotus, papyrus et autres vip\u00e9rines, , etc..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#d6f5cb61;font-size:20px\">Le jardin contenait \u00e9galement une grande serre, install\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019emplacement d\u2019une&nbsp; galeries souterraines effondr\u00e9e&nbsp;; cette derni\u00e8re abritait des plantes exotiques qu\u2019E. et J. BEAUDOUIN ramenaient vraisemblablement de certains de leurs voyages&nbsp;: bananiers, passiflores, g\u00e9raniums noirs \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#c2f79e36;font-size:20px\">Depuis le d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 2000, des membres d\u2019ASPMV, jardiniers amateurs et b\u00e9n\u00e9voles, ont r\u00e9veill\u00e9 la m\u00e9moire et le souvenir de ce jardin moderniste remarquable, partie int\u00e9grante du Patrimoine maritime de la Darse de Villefranche sur Mer.
